Alexis Pearce

My name is Alexis Pearce and I am from Escondido, California. I attended Rincon Elementary and Middle School and graduated from Escondido High School in 2000. I will be graduating from Cal State San Marcos this may and am looking forward to entering the Credentialing Program in the fall of 2007.

I am far from being called technologically savvy. When it comes to computers I am a bit intimidated. My experience has been predominately on a PC. I can search the web, type a term paper, and send an email. I recently got a digital camera and this is the first time I have downloaded a picture. I’m nervous yet eager to learn more.

I believe the CSUSM mission statement is very progressive. Collaboration is a word used to describe the way in which we must approach the changes needed in public education. I could not agree more. A collaboration of educators, administrators, parents, and community are needed to achieve an equitable education for all.
